Live Performances

Dani has been a Production Manager for Decadent Theatre Company for Vernon God Little (2015), The Quare Land (2010) and Here We Are Again Still (2009).

She also worked as a script reader for Galway Theatre Festival (2009). In recent years Dani has worked in combining literature with theatre, dance, film and music. She is interested in live performances that are dynamic and cross artform collaborations. 


As Director of Cúirt International Festival of Literature, Dani successfully won and delivered three major European Project Awards: Read Me Live (2011) The Crossroads of European Literature (2013) and Sharing the World (2015-2016). Dani has given talks on European funding as well as chairing panel events on the topic. She was an advisor to the Galway2020 bid to be European Capital of Culture. 

Dani is currently the national Literary Audience Development Officer for Words Ireland, working with venues across six counties to develop literary programming and audience development. Dani’s key interests in literature continue to be: international partnerships, writer exchanges, residencies, live events, strategic development and policy.
She has extensive experience in: partnership liaison, funding, audience development, budgeting, Marketing, PR, and team management.
She has served as President of the judicial panel for the Crystal Award at the Vilenica International Literary Festival, Slovenia, and was an invited guest of the International Festival of Authors, Toronto in 2012 and 2014. 


Dani is the Communications Co-ordinator for Galway Community Circus, a youth and social circus based in Galway city. Galway Community Circus is a flagship organisation who are part of the Caravan Network and regularly run European projects with up to ten partners.

Dani manages their international partnership liaison and works on Wires Crossed: A Balancing Act for Europe: (, a co-production with Galway 2020 and the European Centre for Funambulism. 

Dani is interested in marketing, audience development initiatives, and strategic developments in terms of audience engagement.
