we are not defined by labels

(un) titled is an online publication for young artists to create an expressive collection that captures our best stories. our aim is to accept the beautiful, in all its different mediums.

call for submissions for first issue:

human

we want to listen to you.
we want to know what kept you up last night, what your favourite food tastes like and who it was that made you get out of bed. we want to know whose are the last lips you kissed and what your big dreams are. we want to know if you prefer the mornings or nights. sunsets or sunrises.

we want to know your favourite colour and the last time you were sick, who was it that looked after you or who do you wish had? we want to know about your favourite birthday party. what did you wish for when the candles blew out? we want to know what you left behind. we want to know what was the thing you should have said but didn’t and we want to know what was the thing you shouldn’t have said but did.

we want to know about your firsts and lasts. we want to know about the times when you let go and the times when you held on. we want to know about the lyrics that never leave your head, your memories, your tears, your movements. we want you to show us.

show us what makes you human.

ask someone series: each issue we will have three questions for you to go out and ask your friends, your family or those complete strangers you want to know more about. the idea behind this is to ask the questions we always feel afraid to ask and to promote connectedness and authenticity.

this issue we are asking:

– when you thought of love when you were younger, what did you think of then and what do you think of now?
– what would you say to someone who is gone, if they were still here?
– define ‘human’
